Information wanted

Bonjour evrybody,
Landed here straight from Google search engine re: "Bieszczady"

Is this forum the right place to get a good and true views about the Bieszczdy from people living all year long in the region?

I understand a little Polish - say, basic words

Basically yes. However most people from this forum are just tourists/travelers/wanderhursts. They usually don't live in Bieszczady, altough they are good (and reliable) source of information about the mountains. In addiaton to it most of them could speak / write in English.

Thanks for the replies. In the meantime I have ordered in Poland the "Atlas Agroturystyka" from the Polska Federacja Turystyki Wielskiej, which seems to be what we want. However from the part I saw on their site, it looks like the offers are quite limited in the Bieszczady region and mainly focusing on some kind of collective accommodations. Dorm rooms were fine and fun when I was younger ; nowadays having over 50,000 km on the meter, my bones require a good bed and a pierzyna !...

I think French is rather rare foreign language in Poland.
English, German and even Russian are still more popular.
However, we all like French people very much, of course.
